Tai Fu Tai is a mansion of the Man’s clan built in 1865. Its Main Building is in twohall three-bays layout, with additional one-bay structure on two sides. The 1st stage work included replacement of rotten timber purlins; re-laying of roof where leakage is found; repairing of wooden door, window and moulding; repainting of murals, etc. Since the granite retaining wall and platform at courtyard was found unstable and water seepage was observed at the outdoor corridor, the 2nd stage work was to strengthen the granite retaining wall and platform; at the same time to repair the drainage system of the courtyard and corridor.
